Welcome

Encore Dance was formed over fifty years ago when my mom's love for dance led her to begin teaching ballet classes at the Flint YWCA. She then opened a dance studio, which she ran out of my childhood home. Now, all of these years later, I am proud to say that our studio has remained a family endeavor and it has always been centered in Genesee County.   

It is our goal to allow students to nurture a love for dance in a supportive and non-competitive environment. We provide students with the technical foundation that they can build on for a lifetime of dance.  We believe that young dancers are best served by a strong ballet background, and offer ballet and tap classes starting at age three.  As our students grow, we are pleased to offer additional dance options. 

Encore Dance (formerly The Dance Studio) is not just a family-run business, but it is a dance family. We hope to hear from you soon and can't wait for you to join in on the fun!
